Paramount Blades are made from a lightweight aircraft aluminum holder with a high quality steel runner. The unique triangular shaped frame increases strength and stiffness. Due to the lighter weight, skaters using Paramount blades can have higher and longer jumps. The Paramount blade holder is made from a super lightweight one-piece aluminum extrusion and high-grade stainless steel runner. This high-grade runner is stronger than just carbon steel.
The 440 and 420 stainless steel used in the runner is stronger than regular carbon steel blades and will hold an edge much longer between sharpenings. Blade life is increased dramatically as well as being more durable. The 440 stainless steel blades are best for top level skaters working on double and triple jumps. The 420 stainless steel blades are best for competitive level skaters working on single axel and double jumps.
